Up periscope! – Al een beachhead in zicht?

Bloep. Daar is ie weer: na 2,5 maand onder water schrijft de dictator weer een posting op z’n eigen grijze beta blog. Is er dan niets terecht gekomen van de goede voornemens om vaker te bloggen?
Nou… dat valt best mee, ik heb n.a.v. het 0-budget evenement een stukje geschreven op MarketingFacts (uiteraard met filmpje) en aansluitend ook een column op Emerce. Dit laatste hoop ik minstens maandelijks te gaan doen, de visie moet immers in praktijk worden gebracht!
Nu ik steeds meer communiceer via Twitter, begint gek genoeg het belang van bloggen ook weer toe te nemen. Via twitter leer ik welke thematiek de moeite waard is om meer uit te diepen. Een blogposting biedt de gelegenheid om meer de diepte in te gaan.
Een posting wordt daarmee een soort open email, waarbij je mensen kan uitnodigen via twitter, email etc. om te reageren. Voor een hoop Social Media fanaten die ik volg werkt dit al langer zo, dit begint bij mij nu eindelijk ook te dagen. #spuit11
Buiten dit bloggen over bloggen en twitter heb ik een concreet vraagstuk waar ik een aparte posting aan ga wijden: hoe nu verder? Het wordt tijd om meer afstandelijk te kijken naar mijn activiteiten, zodat de zakelijke kant voldoende aan bod komt.
Community of Talents zou ik bijvoorbeeld graag verder ontwikkelen, al kost dit heel veel tijd zonder dat dit direct geld oplevert. De vraag die ik nu moet beantwoorden is: "wat wordt nu de ‘beach head’ die ik ga veroveren"?
Tijd om de klassieker “crossing the chasm” hier nog ‘ns op na te slaan! Zie hier een korte samenvatting die ik gevonden heb:
PS: het plaatje dat ik voor deze posting gebruikt heb, is van de Mupps applicatie voor de iPhone. Dit is een programmatje waarmee bands hun fans op allerlei manieren op de hoogte kunnen houden van hun avonturen en ontwikkelingen. Denk bijv. aan berichten via Twitter, foto’s via Flickr, enzovoorts. Dat er op Nederlandse bodem dit soort vernieuwende toepassingen worden gemaakt vindt ik erg bemoedigend. Bij het schrijven van deze post moest ik denken aan onder water zitten en je oriëntatie opnieuw bepalen, dus kon het niet laten om de yellow submarine van Mupps even te lenen.
