Paulien and I were in Boston last february on business.

We had a morning for ourselves and decided to explore the Harvard campus.

After having seen Doc Searls in Paris at Les Blogs 1, I just had to find the Berkman Center for Internet & Society.
Doc Searls and I never really spoke directly. I just knew he was staying at the Holiday Inn for the conference (it was on the wiki), so I decided to stay there as well. When I checked in, I saw him walking across the street.

The openness about his whereabouts really surprised me at the time, it was VERY exciting to see this nr. 1 blog-rockstar appear right in front of me. He didn't even know I recognized him.

Later, I found out via the Gillmor Gang podcast that he joined the Berkman Center as a research fellow.

We called Mark in NL who checked google maps and gave us directions to the center...

I sneaked inside and acutually did see Charles Nesson the founder walking around.

I didn't know what to say to him, so just enjoyed the moment for 5 seconds and left.

Am I a stalker now?? Just hoping some of the visionary brilliance rubs off I guess...
